Description
A black baseball cap features a central embroidered design with "U.S. MARINES" in white arched lettering at the top. Below this, a blue diamond-shaped U.S. Marine Corps emblem contains a red vertical bar with the number "1" and the word "GUADALCANAL" in white, surrounded by four white stars. The years "1965" and "1971" appear in white on either side of the emblem. Beneath the emblem, "1ST MARINE DIVISION" is embroidered in yellow. The word "VETERAN" is embroidered in large white letters across the front brim, flanked by two golden-yellow laurel wreath designs. A small American flag patch is visible on the left side of the cap. The artwork uses white, blue, red, yellow, and gold embroidery on a black fabric background.
