Above the roundel, "UNITED STATES AIR FORCE" is arched in gold lettering. Below it, "Aim High ... Fly-Fight-Win" is embroidered in gold. The cap's brim displays a smaller Air Force rank insignia (a blue and white winged star) centered between two gold laurel wreaths, with "1967" and "1984" in gold on either side and a personalized name in gold below. Small American flag patches are on both sides of the cap. The artwork uses a black fabric base with blue, white, and gold embroidery.
