A U.S. Army National Guard flag design features a central red star with a blue circular emblem containing a soldier figure and the text "ARMY NATIONAL GUARD" in white. Above the star, "ARMY NATIONAL GUARD" is written in large white capital letters. The background is a light gray parchment texture with "We the People" repeated in a faded script. Two green Army National Guard rank chevrons are on either side of the central emblem. Below the star, the phrase "I SERVED MY COUNTRY, WHAT DID YOU DO?" is printed in bold black capital letters. The years "1996 - 2016" appear in black to the right of the right chevron. The design uses red, white, blue, green, and black on a gray background with a distressed, vintage style.
