A flag design features "VIETNAM VETERAN" in large gold capital letters across the top. The left side shows a U.S. flag pattern with white stars on a blue field and red and white stripes, overlaid with a gold Sergeant rank chevron. The right side is solid red with a gold Sergeant rank chevron. Centered between the two halves is the circular Vietnam Veterans of America seal, which includes a yellow and red striped shield, green and yellow vertical stripes, and the text "VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA" around the edge. A horizontal barbed wire graphic runs across the middle, beneath the seal. Below the barbed wire, the phrase "THIS WE'LL DEFEND" is printed in gold capital letters. The artwork uses a distressed texture on the gold lettering and emblems. The color scheme is red, white, blue, gold, and green.
