A U.S. Navy veteran flag design features a bald eagle with a white head and yellow beak, its head emerging from a blue circle of white stars. A red, white, and blue American flag wave flows behind the eagle. To the right, a U.S. Navy seal emblem shows an eagle over a shield with an anchor and crossed cannons. The text "AGAINST ALL ENEMIES - FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC" appears at the top in white capital letters. Below the eagle and seal, "U.S. NAVY VETERAN" is printed in large white letters. Centered beneath this is a personalized name in yellow, followed by "1969 - 1978" in white. Two U.S. Navy rank insignia patches are on either side of the years. The words "HONOR - COURAGE - COMMITMENT" are in white below, flanked by two white stars. The design is set on a dark blue background with a distressed, weathered look.
