A bold bald eagle with a white head and yellow beak is centered on a flag, its wings spread over a stylized American flag with blue field and white stars, and red and white stripes. To the right of the eagle is the U.S. Army seal, a golden eagle holding an olive branch and arrows, with a shield and a circular emblem above. The text "AGAINST ALL ENEMIES - FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC" appears at the top in white capital letters. Below the eagle and seal, "U.S. ARMY VETERAN" is printed in large white letters, flanked by two green rank chevrons. Between the chevrons, a personalized name is written in yellow, with "1969 - 1978" below it in white, and "DUTY - HONOR - COUNTRY" underneath in white. Two white stars are on each side of the lower text. The flag is olive drab with a gray border. The artwork uses patriotic colors: red, white, blue, gold, green, and gray, with a distressed, weathered look.
