A black leather vest features a large back patch with the text "ALL GAVE SOME" arched above and "SOME GAVE ALL" below a central United States Coast Guard seal. The seal includes a compass rose, crossed cannons, an anchor, and the text "UNITED STATES COAST GUARD" and "1790". The numbers "17" and "90" flank the seal. On the front left chest, a rectangular patch displays the name a personalized name and the years "1969-1973" in black text on a white background. A small American flag patch is on the front right chest. The artwork uses gold and white embroidery on a black background, with a distressed, vintage style.
